Skill Building and Outcomes

NOC has collaborated with numerous public, charter, and private schools, hailing from over ten states, to impart essential skills to the next generation of leaders. Our team of professionally trained guides focuses on cultivating key themes and outcomes such as leadership, outdoor education, and high adventure to empower your students for success. By taking education beyond the classroom and into the wilderness with NOC adventures, students engage in active learning while honing their confidence, decision-making abilities, and practical skills. Additionally, our programs emphasize:

  • Environmental Literacy: Encouraging students to comprehend society’s impact on the natural world and instilling a sense of stewardship towards public lands.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Cultivating effective teamwork, fostering compromise, and nurturing a spirit of helpfulness among students.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Equipping students with the flexibility to adapt to various roles, navigate challenges, and collaborate towards viable solutions.
  • Leadership and Responsibility: Empowering students to exercise interpersonal skills in guiding others towards shared goals and motivating peers to excel.
