Founded on the banks of the Nantahala River in 1972, 2022 marks a half century of fun, excitement, exploration and excellence in outdoor adventures.

Over the course of 50 years Nantahala Outdoor Center has impacted millions of lives through tens of thousands of dedicated staff members and guides.
