Our Master Guides bring a wealth of knowledge and years of experience to the world of white water rafting. Not only are they seasoned rafters, but many also serve on mountain rescue squads, fire departments, and other emergency response teams.
These skilled, expert guides are dedicated to creating a relaxed, team-oriented, and exhilarating experience for our participants. With diverse backgrounds and a deep passion for outdoor adventure, many of them are recognized as experts in navigating the challenges of white water rapids and other wilderness terrains. We are honored to have them as an integral part of our team.
The best summer job you will ever have! NOC offers guide positions in rafting, zip lining, mountain biking, and more. Have fun and get paid!
Due to the ongoing emergency caused by Hurricane Helene and the road closures ordered by Governor Cooper in North Carolina, the NOC is suspending all Rafting and Adventure Operations. This suspension will remain in place until the road closures are lifted and supply chains return to normal.
However, NOC's Retail, Lodging, and the Rivers End Restaurant will remain open to locals, emergency responders, and staff in need. Please note that the restaurant may have limited operations due to potential food delivery delays. Our Bryson City campus has power, and Wi-Fi is available for those who need it.
The Backyard at Wesser Campus has been reopened and we have potable water, WIFI and bathrooms available for the public
We will keep everyone updated as the situation progresses. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time! Stay safe, and for the latest road conditions, you can check Drivenc.gov.
