Outdoor Recreation Scholarships
Nantahala Outdoor Center believes passionately in making the outdoors accessible to all. Our alumni and present day staff have created scholarships to make a variety of adventures and training available to everyone, no matter race, gender, or financial status.
Founders Scholarship
Created by board member Jess Austin, and funded by current and past river guides, the Founders Scholarship removes barriers for those interested in becoming a raft guide.
Women's Paddlefest
NOC offers multiple scholarships for Black, Indigenous, Women of Color to attend this June weekend of women paddlers.
Women's Pedal Fest
NOC provides equity and diversity scholarships for Black, Indigenous, Women of Color to attend this November weekend of mountain biking rides and clinics.
