Description
Experience the Great American Eclipse celestial event with an adventure! NOC will host multiple viewing opportunities with specialized glasses on an exclusive Nantahala rafting or mountain top zip line adventure. Bryson City is located just outside the path of totality and will experience a partial eclipse of 88%. The next time this type of event will occur in the U.S. from coast to coast is 2045.
Enjoy food and beverage specials back on campus from both riverside restaurants.
- Eclipse Guided Rafting Trip – Paddle down the scenic Nantahala River with a special stopover at Ferebee Memorial Picnic Area to view the eclipse with specialized glasses provided by your guide.
- Eclipse Zip – As if our Mountaintop Zip Line Tour isn’t exciting enough, seize the opportunity to view the eclipse from up high! Participants will enjoy views from multiple tree top platforms as you zip high above the trees.
- Eclipse Sips – Enjoy food and drinks at both Big Wesser and Rivers End Restaurant with certified solar eclipse glasses available for purchase.
