Dylan grew up just down the road from Nantahala Outdoor Center and spend much of his childhood out exploring the mountains, rock hopping creeks, looking for salamanders and enjoying the great outdoors with his friends. He didn’t have television at home, and he chalks much of his love of the outdoors to the fact that it was his primary form of entertainment as a child.
In high school, Dylan worked summers as a guide on the Tuckasegee River before eventually finding his NOC home on the Chattooga River. Dylan, also known as “Panda” to his coworkers, can be found spending his free time outside, finding wildflowers to add to his pressed flower collection.
