The Giveaway

This year marks a remarkable milestone as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chattooga River’s designation as a National Wild and Scenic River. Located in the lush mountains straddling Georgia and South Carolina, this rugged waterway has captured the hearts of outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists for over half a century.

Since our company’s inception in 1972, NOC has led whitewater rafting trips on the Chattooga River. NOC company co-founder, Payson Kennedy, was a stunt double and river expert in the filming of Deliverance on the Chattooga River. We have been lucky enough to operate in this protected place and promise to continue to do our part in protecting it for years to come.

Wild & Scenic: Raft the Chattooga River!

Chattooga Section IV is the best whitewater the southeast has to offer! This splashy trip quickens the pace with Seven Foot Falls and culminates with the infamous Five Falls, where five adrenaline-pumping Class IV rapids follow quickly. The trip features a scenic lunch at the base of Long Creek Falls.

Wild & Scenic: Relax at the Farm

Chattooga Belle Farm is a 198-acre working farm, distillery, and event venue in beautiful Long Creek, South Carolina. Stay on site in the “Chicken Coop“. A one-bedroom, one-bath tiny home situated on Chattooga Belle Farm property near Horseshoe Lake. Enjoy a respite from the wild adventure as you relax near the cattle and llama pasture and enjoy the scenery. You can grab a bite at Belle’s Bistro and drink at the distillery. Play the disc golf course, pick your fruit, or enjoy the view while you are here!
