WFR – EMR Bridge
SOLO Southeast’s WFR-EMR bridge is designed to offer students a streamlined pathway into the world of Emergency Medical Responder(EMR) certification. The course is fast-paced and taught by our highly experienced instructors.
Overview
Bridge your WFR into an Emergency Medical Responder certification. Students holding a current WFR from SOLO or one of our reciprical agencies can attend this class to become an EMR, the entry-level emergency medicine certification. The class covers EMS operations, medical-legal concepts, administration of medications, resuscitation, care of sick patients, and trauma care. BLS certification is included. EMR is a core certification for many fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and government agencies. This course meets the NREMT and North Carolina OEMS requirements for EMR and students will be eligible to test for both NC and national licensure.

- Must have HS diploma, GED, college diploma, or testing to prove tenth grade reading skills.
