Live Like Maria Freestyle Classic US Team Trials & US Nationals

Description

The Live Like Maria Freestyle Classic hosts the US Team Trials & US Freestyle Nationals October 2–4 at NOC in partnership with the ACA USA Freestyle Organization. NOC offers a world-class competition feature and convenient on-site lodging and dining within walking distance of the wave. We look forward to seeing you on the water!

Registration

Entry Fee: $40 and $20 for each additional class

Registration Deadline: September 30

Proceeds: Support the event and the USA Freestyle Team

• One entry fee per class (e.g., K1 and C1). Competitors must enter only within their age group (e.g., Juniors may not compete in Senior classes).
  • You can enter a different age group for Nationals if for example you are currently a junior but would compete as a senior at Worlds but a junior for Nationals.
  • Except for Cadet and Masters divisions, Team Trials and National Championship classes will be conducted in unison. Compeltors will be ranked once within their class, and that ranking will determine both National Championship and Team Trial results unless designated as a Ghost Competitor.
• Registration Requirements: Active ACA Competition Membership and Competition License for those 18 and older.

• Men’s & Women’s K1: Senior, U23 (18–23), Junior
• Men’s & Women’s C1: Open Age Group
• Men’s & Women’s OC1:Open Age Group
• National Classes Men’s & Women’s:
  • Men’s & Women’s K1: Senior, U23 (18–23), Junior, Masters (Nationals Only), & Cadets (Nationals Only)
  • Men’s & Women’s C1: Open Age Group
  • Men’s & Women’s OC1:Open Age Group

Schedule

• Friday, Oct 2: Practice Day (10:00 AM–3:00 PM release; ~2 hrs to reach feature)
• Saturday, Oct 3: Competition (starts ~9:30 AM; some finals may occur)
  • Water release: 6:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Sunday, Oct 4: Finals Day
  • Water release: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Official heats and start times will be posted on-site during practice.
