Eric Neff, less formerly known as “Neff” with the NOC family, grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina where he can’t remember a summer he didn’t play in the rivers or creeks. He grew up knowing of NOC but was introduced to the beautiful Chattooga River by a good friend and the rest was history. Neff began guiding on the Chattooga River and is now stationed at the Nantahala River as Assistant Manager.
Eric is a certified Wilderness First Responder and also holds a Swiftwater Rescue Technician certification. He fills his days with exploring Western NC, walking the dog, running, cooking, reading, and planning his next big adventure – having recently traveled to Ecuador and with a couple of Grand Canyon trips under his belt.
