Steven Foy, known as “Foy” around Nantahala Outdoor Center, is our General Manager of Outpost Operations and has been at NOC for 12 years now. Foy also represents NOC on the Board of Directors for America Outdoors Association working behind the scenes to keep public access to our natural resources available.
Steven enjoys helping young leaders find their professional path at NOC, having been recruiting to NOC’s Paddling School as a young leader himself. Never staying in one place for long, Foy can be found all over NOC’s various Outposts, with the French Broad becoming his new “backyard run”. He enjoys mountain biking, cooking, drinking coffee, being the World’s Best Uncle, and is always up for an outdoor shenanigan.
