Luke Womble is an avid paddler from Boone, North Carolina. Since graduating with a Bachelor’s in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University, he has led and designed programs all over the East Coast. Luke excels in creating tailored programs that promote growth through adventure. His background as an educator and extensive experience working with youth have made him a great instructor for all ages.
A grade A International Canoe Federation freestyle judge, he has a keen eye and enjoys breaking down kayaking techniques, from fundamental skills to advanced freestyle and river running moves. When Luke’s not in the river, he enjoys playing disc golf, guitar, time outdoors with friends, and snowboarding.
