Overview

Enjoy paddling on the beautiful waters of the Chattahoochee River with a guided group paddle. Guests can take out either a tandem or single sit on top kayak. We will guide you down through 2 miles of the scenic Chattahoochee National Recreation Area.

Evening tours will run from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM and depart from Azalea Park at our Roswell location in Roswell. Choose your date below. Space is limited. No experience is necessary. Participants must be 5+ years of age and in the craft with an adult at all times. Ages 9+ can paddle their own craft with a participating adult. Weight and age requirements are below.

Participants must be 5+ years of age and in the craft with an adult at all times. Ages 9+ can paddle their own craft with a participating adult. All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a participating adult during the activity.
For single sit on top kayaks: The maximum weight for this craft is 300 lbs.
For tandem sit on top kayaks: The maximum combined weight for this craft is 500 lbs.
For stand up paddleboards: The maximum weight for this craft is 285 lbs.
Participants must be capable of walking on flat mixed surfaces for 200 yards to and from the river access. Participants must be willing and able to carry equipment, kayak, paddles, and any personal equipment to river access points. Guides are available to help move equipment for those that require assistance. If participant wishes to explore surrounding river area, walking on rocky, wet, slippery, or varied surfaces will be required. Please wear a personal flotation device at all times while on the water.

NOC provides all river essentials and equipment needed for this trip including:

  • PFDs
  • Boat and Paddles
  • NOC Guided Instruction

Guests should wear shoes that stay securely on your feet, quick-dry clothing, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a water bottle.

  • Towel and change of clothing for after your tour
