Surf the ‘Hooch with NOC’s stand-up-paddleboard rentals from NOC, conveniently located near downtown Roswell at Azalea Park and Don White Memorial Park. The SUP’s combined versatility and simplicity—a stabilized surfboard with a paddle—make it ideal for any number of river adventures: fun with family and friends, an intense water workout, a peaceful yoga retreat, or a relaxing journey. Great for experienced paddlers or for beginners looking for an added challenge, the paddleboard provides a unique take on a classic Atlanta river trip.
Choose from two sections of the river to paddle. Out and backs leave right at our Roswell Outpost and offer a calm section of the river for floating and paddling around the area. Or choose to shuttle upriver and enjoy a downriver paddle complete with floats, some mild rapids and currents for a more challenging trip.
All out and back SUP rentals leave from NOC’s riverside Roswell outpost located in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area at Azalea Park. Downriver trips may meet at either Don White Memorial Park or Azalea Park.

What to Expect
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation at NOC’s Roswell Outpost in Azalea Park or Don White Memorial Park, to allow time for parking and check-in. NOC guides will help guests get fitted for gear and head out on the river or shuttle to the put-in depending on the trip chosen.
All out and back SUP rentals leave from NOC’s riverside Roswell outpost located in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area at Azalea Park.
Downriver trips may meet at either Don White Memorial Park or Azalea Park and shuttle to the put-in for a 1.5-mile trip.

Before You Visit
Participants must be 11+ years of age. All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a participating adult during the activity. The maximum combined weight for this craft is 285 lbs.
Participants must be capable of walking on flat mixed surfaces for 200 yards to and from the river access. Participants must be willing and able to carry equipment, kayak, paddles, and any personal equipment to river access points. Guides are available to help move equipment for those that require assistance. If participant wishes to explore surrounding river area, walking on rocky, wet, slippery, or varied surfaces will be required. Please wear a personal flotation device at all times while on the water.

NOC SUP rentals include a stand-up-paddleboard, paddle and personal flotation device (PFD). NOC also provides shuttles for this trip.
The NOC Outpost store offers t-shirts, snacks, sunblock, and other river essentials.
