Overview

NOC’s Team-Building Challenge Course provides groups the opportunity to work together to navigate multiple obstacles as a team. Groups will help each other by communicating ideas and strategies to quickly navigate a variety of obstacles requiring different skills, such as swinging logs, climbing obstacles, and a “spider’s web” feature.

$35 per person

Highlights

  • Multiple challenging obstacles are used in this course to encourage teamwork and communication among peers.
  • Obstacles are fixed elements, including, logs, cables, rope, and even tennis balls and pool noodles.
  • The course is located underneath the canopy of the Nantahala National Forest offering an immersive outdoor experience.

What to Expect

When your group arrives at Nantahala Outdoor Center, you will be greeted by our Group Coordinator who will be in touch with you throughout your trip at NOC. Depending on the length of your adventure, you will be directed immediately to your first activity or to your lodging check-in.

No helmets, harnesses, or special gear normally provided by NOC is required for this activity.

Participants should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty during this activity. Closed-toe shoes are required to participate on the Team Building Challenge Course. No helmets or harnesses are required.

This activity is designed for groups that have 10-24 participants. Call NOC’s Group Sales Team for additional details.

Enjoy riverside dining at one of our two locations conveniently located right on campus. River’s End Restaurant offers American-style cuisine with pizza, sandwiches, salads and more. Big Wesser features quick Southern fare like burgers and barbeque. Both have a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.

Additional snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the Outfitter’s Store or the General Store.
