Chattooga Immersion (Class III-IV)
This course is perfect for paddlers who want to improve technical boating capabilities, line selection, boat control!
Overview
Experience two unforgettable days on the Southeast’s premier Wild & Scenic River. The Chattooga Immersion program is designed for paddlers who want to elevate their technical boating capabilities and experience the inner corridor of Section IV. All our NOC Instructors are professionally trained and are certified ACA instructors.
Day 1- Section III: Kick off your Chattooga Immersion experience by honing scouting, river reading, and boofing skills on the classic rapids of Section III. Through detailed analytical coaching, you’ll refine line selection and boat control, building the confidence needed to take on the challenging features that await downstream.
Day 2- Section IV: Experience the thunder and excitement of this section’s iconic rapids. Water level and group skill will determine whether we take out at Woodall Shoals or continue through the Five Falls, refining precision paddling techniques and strategic decision-making along the way. Whichever access points are chosen, this promises to be an unforgettable river experience.
