A Nashville visit is not complete without a dose of adventure in the outdoors with Nantahala Outdoor Center! NOC offers whitewater rafting adventure on several rivers in the region, whether you are looking for a family-friendly float trip or nonstop adventure with friends on an Olympic River.

Just a few hours drive outside the city lies America’s Olympic River, the Ocoee. NOC offers two trips on the Ocoee River, an action-packed half-day of continuous Class III-IV rapids or the most exciting trip, a full-day combining the traditional Middle Ocoee trip with the Class IV Ocoee Olympic Whitewater Center, site of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Center.

NOC also offers family-friendly, guided whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River, just outside of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. For adventure packages and multiple itineraries, visit NOC’s 500-acre campus just outside of Bryson City, North Carolina in the Nantahala Gorge for rafting, zip-lining, mountain biking, paddling courses, and more.
