New to paddling? This introductory course is perfect for first-timers looking to gain confidence on the water. Whether you’re trying kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time, our experienced NOC guides will walk you through the basics in a calm, flatwater environment to enjoy the area lakes and rivers.

Before You Visit

- NOC’s highly trained instruction
NOC provides the primary gear needed for each course, including specialty boats, paddles, PFDs, and helmets.
Participants will need to provide individual gear outlined below.

- Water Shoes with a secure backstrap or Old Sneakers
- Synthetic T-Shirts
- Sunscreen / Lip Balm
- Towel and Change of Clothes
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Clothing and Personal Items

Participants must be 10+ years old. No previous experience is necessary. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
NOC Roswell store sells snacks, drinks, sunscreen and more. Lunch is not included.
