This traditional boat is a great way to experience the river with friends or family and is the perfect introduction to water sports for young children. NOC canoe rentals are easy to get in and out of, offer extra space for storage, and require no technical paddling skills.

What to Expect
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation at NOC’s Roswell Outpost in Azalea Park or Don White Memorial Park, to allow time for parking and check in. NOC guides will help guests get fitted for gear and head out on the river or shuttle to the put-in depending on the trip chosen.
All out and back canoe rentals leave from NOC’s riverside Roswell outpost located in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area at Azalea Park.
Downriver trips may meet at either Don White Memorial Park or Azalea Park and shuttle to the put-in for a 1.5 mile or 3 mile trip from Garrard’s Landing back to Azalea Park.

Before You Visit
Participants must be 5+ years of age and in the craft with an adult at all times. All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a participating adult during the activity. The maximum combined weight for this craft is 500 lbs.
Participants must be capable of walking on flat mixed surfaces for 200 yards to and from the river access. Participants must be willing and able to carry equipment, kayak, paddles, and any personal equipment to river access points. Guides are available to help move equipment for those that require assistance. If participant wishes to explore surrounding river area, walking on rocky, wet, slippery, or varied surfaces will be required. Please wear a personal flotation device at all times while on the water.

NOC canoe rentals include a canoe, paddles, personal flotation device (PFD), and shuttle if needed.
The NOC Outpost store offers t-shirts, snacks, sunblock, and other river essentials.
