NOC’s raft rentals accommodate groups of all sizes and make the perfect Atlanta day trip or outdoor activity on the mellow float through Roswell’s riverside parks. Rafting enables participants to take an active role, paddling your way down the river as a team and is perfect for groups with young children. NOC raft rentals help you stay high above the water, so they are highly recommended when temperatures are too cool for tubing.
The Chattahoochee River between Don White and Azalea Park offers gentle rapids and a mellow float that are great for first-time river runners, families with children, or any group exploring Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
Raft rental reservations must be made at the NOC Roswell Outpost and guests will be shuttled up to Don White for a 1.5 mile trip downriver.

What to Expect
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation at NOC’s Roswell Outpost in Azalea Park to allow time for parking and check in. NOC guides will help guests get fitted for gear and head out on the shuttle to the put-in depending on the trip chosen. Total time on the river is 1-3 hours.

Before You Visit
Participants must be 5+ years of age and in the craft with an adult at all times. All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a participating adult during the activity.
Participants must be capable of walking on flat mixed surfaces for 200 yards to and from the river access. Participants must be willing and able to carry equipment, kayak, paddles, and any personal equipment to river access points. Guides are available to help move equipment for those that require assistance. If participant wishes to explore surrounding river area, walking on rocky, wet, slippery, or varied surfaces will be required. Please wear a personal flotation device at all times while on the water.

NOC river raft rentals include a raft, paddles, personal flotation devices (PFDs), and necessary shuttle rides.
The NOC Outpost store offers t-shirts, snacks, sunblock, and other river essentials.
