Discover the best of the region in this spectacular guided package where scenic beauty meets adventure! Pair a peaceful morning hike in Smoky Mountains National Park, with a fun afternoon whitewater rafting trip on the Nantahala River.

Start the day at Deep Creek to embark on a guided tour and hike and discover the park’s natural wonders like lush trails, stunning waterfalls and geological formations. The path is a treasure trove of wildflowers, unique plants, and insects. With 3,000 miles of streams in the Smokies, there are an abundance of cascades and waterfalls but few places where you can enjoy three in just a 2.5-mile hike like this one.

After the hike, retreat to the NOC Nantahala Campus for lunch at Big Wesser Riverside Pub to relax and refuel.

The adventure continues in the afternoon with a classic rafting experience on the crystal-clear Nantahala River. Led by NOC guides, paddle fun Class I-II rapids with areas to sit back and admire the beauty. Splash down the Class III Nantahala Falls for the finale, where you’ll end up back on campus in time for live entertainment or dinner.
