The Hemlocks by NOC, offers stunning, newly constructed bungalows along the mountainside just a short walk from the Nantahala River, Lake Fontana, Flint Ridge, and the Appalachian Trail.
These charming accommodations are perfectly situated among the trees in a quiet setting, but with access to diverse itineraries of adventure, restaurants and shopping, allowing you to savor the best of both worlds – nature’s tranquility and sophisticated comforts. Inside, you’ll find enhanced interiors with king bedrooms, kitchenette, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and cozy sitting area with modern fireplace and flat screen TVs in the living room, and bedrooms. Outside enjoy spacious decks and beautiful views. We’re getting ready to welcome you for a restful stay immersed in the great outdoors.
The Hemlocks come in two configurations:
- Single King Bedroom + Full Bathroom
- Two King Bedrooms + 2 Bathrooms
There are two ADA Units on the upper ridge level with access to the main parking area.

Pets: Dogs are permitted in select units for an additional fee of $30/night (Max 2 dogs, 80lbs or less). Hemlocks #1 and #2 are designated as no-pet units to ensure the comfort of all guests, including those with allergies and sensitivities.
Guests traveling with service animals are welcome, and we are happy to assist in finding units that meet their specific needs. Please note that emotional support animals are not considered service animals under ADA guidelines.
