Discover the breathtaking beauty and heart-pounding excitement of the Ocoee River with NOC! Nestled in the Cherokee National Forest of eastern Tennessee, this legendary whitewater destination offers three guided trip experiences:

  • Middle Ocoee (Half‑Day): Journey through five miles of nonstop Class III–IV rapids—the iconic Table Saw, Broken Nose, Double Trouble, and Powerhouse—earning its reputation as “America’s most popular river trip.” This half day guided trip offers just the right intensity and action-packed whitewater. Guests ages 12+ can raft the Middle Ocoee from March-October. The trip is 3-3.5 hours long.
  • High Adventure on the Middle Ocoee (Half-Day): For adventure enthusiasts with rafting experience, this playful, challenging half-day trip offers an opportunity to dig deeper into the features of the Middle Ocoee. This Guide-developed adventure will have you crashing through big waves, spinning on eddy lines, and surfing in the current. In the midst of all the action, the trip stops for a swimming break and riverside snack. Guests ages 13+ can raft the Middle Ocoee from May-September. The trip is 4-4.5 hours long.
  • Middle + Upper Ocoee (Full‑Day Combo with Lunch): Elevate the adventure with an additional five miles of Olympic‑caliber whitewater—including the 1996 slalom course. Between the two sections, the trip stops for a picnic lunch and then proceeds to the popular five-mile Middle Ocoee trip. Guests ages 13+ can raft the Middle + Upper Ocoee from May-September. The trip is 5.5 hours long.

Whether you’re chasing big drops in the Upper or nonstop flow through the Middle, NOC’s expertly trained guides deliver an unforgettable river journey.
